Intel - CES 2022 LED Volume Demo

This project was ultimately showcased on a cube LED volume that was showcased at CES in Las Vegas at the beginning of 2022. The first video was a green screen cleanup involving hair cleanup. There was also a second pass within the same composition for replacing the footage that was seen through the glasses. After the alpha matte was tracked with the glasses, a simple lens distortion was added for the underlying footage. The second part of this project was spent developing fireworks for the final scene of the interior demo that was showcasing Intel's 12th generation technology. Initially the indecisiveness of whether to make the fireworks affect the environment and be seen within reflections; required for the fireworks to be set up in a 3D volume. This yielded many hardships due to the need for ease of rendering. While some of the final fireworks were indeed 3D, we saw a need for a much higher frequency of fireworks to fill the scene. This ultimately led us to decide to switch to a 2.5D medium where we finished the rest of the composition in After Effects.
