This project is currently a work in progress. This project has used a series of pre-made assets and overall became a project to better familiarize myself with Level Design.
This project has involved a series of new workflows that had not been previously utilized. Such workflows include: Procedural Content Generation (PCG) of forest assets within a designated volume within Unreal Engine; EmberGen utilization for simulation of smoke assets; and LiquiGen utilization for generation of waterfalls with whitewater simulations. This project has additionally expanded my knowledge with altering the shading of the materials in accordance with weather effects.
As mentioned prior, this project is currently in development and will delve further into the addition of storytelling elements as well as a more intricate timelapse workflow to show a more cohesive passage of time.
