This project involved capturing a still image of a source object that was to be recreated within Maya and then ultimately composited via render layers within After Effects. Originally when working on this project, I had not become familiarized with a workflow involving Substance Painter. Instead, all of the labels that are seen on the lens are applied via a separate instance of the same material. This led to a tedious workflow, but due to my increased experience within the field, I now understand how to correctly implement this same project by a much faster means. The HDRI for the source lighting was a captured real-world environment from a chrome ball.
