Implementing a Sociological Approach to Creative Environmental Concept Design in Visual Effects

This was the visual portion to my thesis project for completion of an MFA in Visual Effects from Savannah College of Art & Design. The concept is compiled from a custom narrative between two culturally distinct societies, whose coexistence is eventually plagued with a lust for war. This composition is a diorama just prior to the opening of the war. The creative choices of this piece were made in correlation with an ethnographic questionnaire. Certain aspects of the anthropological studies showed overlap with current events. I would like to make this a long term project which I will expand upon as time progresses.
