This project was originally meant to serve as a means of learning more about both Houdini and MELScript. The MELScript was ultimately used as a means of randomizing the seed for the colored lights within the foreground jar. Houdini was used for the instancing of the light fixtures within the jar into a random assortment. It was then used for generating the spline that stretched the entirety of the points that were distributed. This served as a means of generating the cord within the jar.
For a more information on the process, you can view this secondary website which I originally formulated for this piece.
