Jellyfish Pod Animation w/ Cloth Simulations

This piece was created by following a tutorial on YouTube by Adrien Lambert. Certain creative adjustments were made to the final output. The tentacle simulations were setup within Houdini by utilizing its Vellum workflow. All simulations were ultimately constrained to the central bell of the invertebrate. The animation with the simulations was exported from Houdini as an alembic. The exported alembic ended up totaling a little over 10 GB. The alembic was ultimately imported into Unreal Engine as a geometry cache. Because of this, the playback is not fully optimized for real-time. Real-time was not necessary for the final output. The environment that was used was originally authored by Pack-Dev Environments. Everything else was made by me. This project allowed me to learn a lot about the animation process within Houdini.
